IABC seeks to inspire, develop, and empower communicators to identify, share and apply the world’s best communication practices. IABC Utah offers its members opportunities for career and skill development, awards programs, accreditation and connection with other communication professionals throughout the state of Utah. On average, our members have approximately 10 years experience in their respective fields. Our members work in diverse industries and communication disciplines that include corporate communications, marketing communication, employee and benefits communication, public relations, public affairs and writing/editing. We have expert communicators in all fields from the nonprofit sector to government and business.

IABC Utah offers professional development lunch and learns on topics to serve the focus of all of our members. Topics range from employee and corporate communications, marketing communications, career development, and media relations. We also offer opportunities for our Members to reach out to the community through small-business consultation and engagement events. IABC Utah also provides a variety of networking opportunities and occasionally partners with other local professional associations to hold joint events benefitting both organizations. We bring members together by also planning social and active events where we take advantage of Utah’s outdoor recreation activities and Salt Lake City’s emerging food scene.
